Fishermen come to Maine to haul in the big catch. While lobster fishing and deep sea fishing are big industry in Maine, recreational sports fishermen can find plenty of fish and lots of fun aboard a fishing charter.

You can rent a fishing boat from Point Sebago's marina and explore Sebago Lake, travel up the Songo Locks to Brandy Pond and Long Lake for a real fishing expedition.
If fly fishing is your sport, there are fly fishing clinics offered by Kittery Trading Post and LL Bean, and excellent fly fishing rivers and streams throughout the big state of Maine. If you know how to cast, and you are all set with your rod and reel, then salmon and trout fly fishing tours are available. Imagine a canoe fishing charter to some secret fishing hole.
Ice
fishing in Maine's wintry months of February and March brings ice fishing
